The cau se of t hi s p heno mena an d t he rela tion ship bet ween t he half har monics amp lit ude an d t he slant angle of t he magnetic head were analyzed qual it atively . There i s no half har monics in t he outp ut wavefor m w hen t he horizont al slant an gle of magnetic head i s equal to zero . The bigger t he horizont al slant angle of magnetic head , t he higher i s t he half har monic amp lit ude . They maint ain a linearit y relation ship w hen t he slant an gle i s le ss t han 3°. When t he slant angle chan ge s f ro m po sitive to negative , t he amp lit ude s of t he half har monics change al so f ro m p o si tive to negative .
