Effects Effects ofSaBx Psammophila Checkerboard on Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Sandy Soil Abstract The paper basically analysis the influence on phyileal and chemical characteristics of sandy soil,after establishing Safix Psammophila Checkerboard,by compareding Salix Psammophila Checkerboard sand with contrast sand.The main results∽as follows: 1.Establishing Salix Psammophila Checkerboard can form soil crust,average thickness for O.76m,and appear aggregate structure.Physical composkion of sany soil is component of 0.15~O In.Establishing Salix Psammophila Checkerboard Call decrease grace particle,accounting for 7.34%(P=0.0420.05),obviously increase the fine powder、 coarse powder and clay ofsoil surface.accounting for 59.71%(P-0.0210.05)、86.59% (P=O 00.01)、30.78%(P=1O.05).middlepowderincrease 2.08times(P=0.00.01).It shows Salix Psammophila Checkerboard can control effectively sandstorm activity of earth。s surface,keep the earth。s surface from sandy crust,and benificaly form soil crust. 2.After establishing Salix Psammophila Checkerboard,organic matter contain is significant higher than the contrast sand,accounting for 74 28%、68.96%in O~30em and 30~60cm depth;total nitrogen contain increase 2.42 times,and total potassinm contain is significant higher than contrast sand,accounting for 40.85%in O~30cm depth;it shows SalixPsammophila Checkerboard can improve fertility condition ofsandy soil. 3.Significant correlations are showed between soil physical properties and soil chemical proper ties.Water contain with fine clay is signification position correlation. Organic matter with total nitrogen tand oral potassium is signification position correlation, it shows organic matte is the materal basic of fertility condition of sandy soil.Clay and 0.2~O.15m、O.1~0.05m particles with organic matter and total nitrogen are signification positive correlation,it shows organic roarer and total nitrogen of sandy soil increase after contents of srnall partical in soil increas
