Abstract
This work presents swamp and underwater oil pipeline maintenance and repair chambers. Assemblies of
repair chambers are assigned for repairing of pipeline sections in the swamps, across the small lakes, former
riverbeds and in the bottomland part of underwater passages without bringing them up to the surface.
Demountable carrying structures are offered for transportation of technical equipment across swamps of all three
types and delivering of repair chamber to the place of mounting. This design successfully passed field tests in the
swamps of second type in Western Siberia.
“Pit-type” sealing chamber (“dry caisson”) is offered as the mean of providing emergency
