TheJewshadbeenexpelledfromEnglandin1290andwerenotallowedtoreturnuntilthemid-17thcentury.Duringthisperiod,someJewshadmigratedtoothercountries,suchastheNetherlandsandTurkey,wheretheyhadbetteropportunitiesforreligiousfreedomandtrade.However,withtheRestorationofthemonarchyin1660,OliverCromwell,thenewleader,liftedthebanonJewishpeoplelivinginEngland.

ResearchQuestion:

WhatwasthepolicytowardstheJewishpeopleinBritainduringthe17thto19thcentury,andhowdiditimpacttheirintegrationintoBritishsociety?

Methodology:

Thisresearchwillbeconductedthroughananalysisofprimaryandsecondarysources.Primarysourceswillincludeofficialdocumentssuchasparliamentaryreports,governmentpapers,andcourtrecords.Secondarysourceswillbedrawnfrombooks,journals,andacademicarticles.Thedatawillbecollectedandanalyzedqualitatively,takingintoaccountthesocial,economic,andpoliticalfactorsthatshapedthepolicytowardstheJews.
