Abstract

Epithelialovariancancerisoneofthemostcommonmalignanttumorsinwomen,anditsoccurrenceanddevelopmentinvolvecomplexcarcinogenicmechanisms,amongwhichDNAmethylationabnormalitieshavebeenafocusofattentioninrecentyears.ThisarticleaimstoexplorethemolecularmechanismofDNAabnormalmethylationpatterninepithelialovariancancer,especiallyitsapplicationinmolecularsubtypingandclinicaldiagnosis.

Firstly,thisarticlewillreviewtherelevantbackgroundofepithelialovariancanceranditsmolecularsubtyping,andintroducetheexistingresearchprogressofDNAmethylationandthelatesttechnicalmeans.Then,thisarticlewillexplaintheapplicationofDNAmethylationinmolecularsubtypingofepithelialovariancancer,includingP53mutationtype,BRCA1/2mutationtype,CpGislandmethylationtype,andemphasizeitssuperiorityandapplicationprospectinmolecularsubtyping.
