Google has become the worlds most attractive job seeker for two consecutive years and has topped the list of the worlds best employers (according to the latest employer brand survey by Universum, a world-renowned consultancy). The company was established in 1998, has gone through 13 years of history of the worlds largest Internet Co, why can such a short period of time has made great success in business at the same time, the worlds top talent and focus attention, become the ideal enterprise most willing to work for you in mind?
From the point of view of human resource management and my personal experience in Google for 5 years, I think Googles success can be summed up in the following five aspects:
1. meaningful work: “ integration of global information so that everyone can access; everyone can benefit from ” is Googles corporate mission. From the day the company was founded, Google was full of the ideals, passions, and courage to change the world and make history. Google encourages each employee to focus on the future, we have the whole world in view, creation and breakthrough, reshape our lives and our world. Employees are able to see clearly how valuable and meaningful the results of their hard work are. Employees to participate in every new product development, from the Google search, Google and earth map, Gmail mail, Picasa photo management software, intelligent mobile phone operating system Android, Google, Google+1 and other social platforms, all in changing peoples lives, and make people by the way and method of information becomes more efficient convenient and accurate, but also make people all over the world more closely connected with each other. Dreams create miracles, ideals unite power, a meaningful job is what everyone wants and is willing to pay for it.
