3Erectionofdrumequipment

Thischapterinvolvesinthemechanicalerectionofdrumequipment.

3.1Drumsupport

3.1.1Preparationwork:

Theerectionandalignmentofdrumsupportshallbeperformedwithpresence

ofthetechnicalnelundertheleadershipoftheClient.

3.1.2Erectionrequirement:

(1)Theerectionsupervisorshallinspectalltheerectiondimensionsrelated

tothehotwatertankandwillissuetheinspectionreportifallthedimensions

agreetothedrawings,shouldanydimensiondeviationisfound,remedyshall

bemadebeforestartingdrumerection.

(2)Position,alignandlevelthedrumsupportasshownonFig.1.

(3)Clearlyindicatethecentrelineonthesupportforlaterdimension

measurement.

correspondingportionofequipment)

(4)Casttheboltsofsupportbyquick-settingmortarassoonaspossibleafter

checkingtheerectiondimensionandlevelnessinordertofixtheboltsfor

earliererectionofdrivesanddrum.

(5)Withconcretecured(thecuringtimeshallfollowtheregulationofcivilwork

contractor),installtheidlerrollsandlevelwithadjustmentshimstoensurethe

evennessdeviationamongfouridlerrolls≤0.2mm,verticaldistance

deviationfromtheidlerrollcentretothedatumlevelwithin±0.5mm,

longitudinalcentrelinedeviationofidlerrollswithin±1mm,transversal

centrelinedeviationwithin±1mm(transversalalignmentofidlerrollscanbe

realizedviacenteringnotchontheidlerrollsupport(seeAttachmentFig1)

andthesymmetricparallelismdeviation≤0.1mm,seeFig.2.

(6)Adjusttheidlerrollstoletthemrunningfreely.
