Wastewater Treatment Process introduction
(1) Pretreatment
Solids (5mm) was removed by bar screen.
Suspending solids were removed by Rotary screen which mesh is 100 eyes.
The effluent of rotary screen inflows coagulating and Flocculating Tank.
The effluent of primary sedimentation tank will be Middle pit. Then pumped to the cooling tower.
If the raw waste water temperature is below 38℃, it requires no cooling, so the waste water will be pumped to the A/O tank directly.
(2) Aerobic treatment
The effluent will be treated by aerobic process (A/O).
Anoxic tank was set before oxic tank. Wastewater and backflow sludge were mixed in Anoxic tank. Microorganism was selected through anoxic and oxic two-phase.
Most BOD was adsorbed by microorganism in Anoxic tank. The rest of organic and absorption organic by microorganism were removed in oxic tank.
Filamentous bacteria was restrained in anoxic tank. So sludge bulking was avoided.
(3)Sludge Treatment
It is convenient to adopt belt press to dewater pulp and paper mill’s sludge.
Dewatered sludge is disposed safety. backwash water and filtrate from the belt press together with other plant effluents are collected in a sump and returned to the inlet channel.
