台灣大學建築與城鄉研究所 2008 秋 任課教師:夏鑄九 課程大綱 (Course Syllabus) 544-M3610:資訊社會與城市導讀 (An Introduction to Information Society and City) 3 學分 建築與城鄉研究所,公館一樓101室 星期一ABC(下午6:30-9:30) 一 課程簡述 (course description) 本課程經由對網絡社會之認識來掌握與全球資訊化城市相關之研究課題。基於教學目的,我們理解網絡社會為廿世紀晚期隨著新資訊技術範型而建構的社會結構。經由對技術革命、新經濟、和網際網絡與區域發展間多層互動等之廣泛閱讀,希望學生能選擇不同的區域、城市、到社區與建築之經驗研究課題,如,網際網絡對地方發展、空間組織、數位鴻溝、媒體與文化、都市主義與社區、市民參與、電腦空間與象徵表現、規劃與設計者、地方/區域政治之影響等。 This is an advanced seminar aimed at graduate students who wish to engage in empirical research on topics related to the global-informational city in terms of the understanding of network society. For the purpose of this class, network society is understood as the social structure constituted in the last quarter of the 20th century, in co-evolution with the new information technological paradigm. Through the extensive reading of the technological revolution, the new economy and the multilevel interaction between Internet and regional development, the students are expected to select different topics to develop mini-empirical research projects. They may include the effects of information technology on interrelated territorial topics.
