Effect of 5GPa Pressure Treatment on Solid-state Phase Transformation
Kinetics in Low Alloy Steel During Cooling Process

Abstract 院The effects of 5 GPa pressure treatment on the solid state phase transformation kinetic parameters of low alloy
steel in following cooling process were investigated, based on the measurement and calculation of its solid state phase
transformation temperature, duration and activation energy. The results show that the transformation temperature and
activation energy of austenite to pearlite in low alloy steel after 5 GPa pressure treatment can be increased as well as the phase
transformation time can be also decreased, and which is helpful for the solid-state phase transformation in low alloy steel
during cooling process.
