Abstract: M icrostr ct re and m echan ical properties of the w eld joints of 05Cr17N i4C 4Nb precip itation hardening stain less steel sed in
steam t rb ine low press re blade w ere investigated thro gh m echan ical test, optical m icroscope and scann ing electron m icroscope. Res lts
show that the weld join ts of 05C r17N i4C 4Nb steel has higher strength and low mi pact to ghness after aging at 540 and the strength
decreases and the mi pact to ghness ofw eld m etal mi provesw ith the aging tem perat re increasing to 600 . There exists a hardnessm in mi m
in HAZ from the f sion line abo t 6 ~ 7 mm in d irect aged w eld joints. Both high strength and enhanced mi pact to ghness are obtained
thro gh resol tion and aging treatm ent. The m ain reason for the w eld m etal mi pact to ghness mi provem en t is associated w ith change of
m icrostr ct re and fract re m echan ism transition.
