It is found ou t that the p re sen t in stitu tional arrangem en ts a s the p recondition s, the p eop les failu re to bu ild their own net of in terp ersonal relation s in the city, and their sen se of “being relatively dep rived ”, their inferiority comp lex and their of d ifficu lt life in citie s con tribu te, on the who le, to their cu rren t vague selfconcep t. The study reflects that the p eop les selfiden tity is clo sely related w ith the social recogn ition of their statu s, and their selfiden tity is now tran siting from “su rface accep tance ”to p“rivate accep tance ”.
