水污染控制工程12 污泥处理与处置(Water pollution control project 12 sludge treatment and disposal) Chapter xii treatment and disposal of sludge Sludge treatment purpose Treatment of sludge accounts for 20% ~ 50%, or even 70% of total construction costs. Sludge from sewage treatment plants accounts for about 0.3% ~ 0.5% of the treated water. Sludge contains a lot of harmful toxic substances, such as parasitic worm eggs, pathogenic microorganisms, bacteria, synthetic organics and heavy metal ions; Useful substances such as phytonutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), organic matter and water. Sludge treatment and disposal for the following purposes: (1) to make the sewage treatment plant functioning normally and ensure the effectiveness of the sewage treatment; (2) to make the toxic and hazardous substances properly disposed or utilized; (3) to stabilize the organic matter that is prone to decay and to be stabilized; (4) make use of useful substances and turn them into profits. The classification, nature and yield of sludge 12.1.1 classification 1) according to the composition: Sludge organics is the main component, and the sediment of the initial sedimentation tank and the secondary sedimentation tank are all sludge. It is easy to rot and stink, with fine particle size and small proportion (about 1.02 ~ 1.006). It has high moisture content and is not easy to dehydrate and gelatinous structure. The slag is the residue of the inorganic substance. The main properties of sediment are the coarser particles, larger proportion (about 2), low moisture content and easy dehydration and poor fluidity. Sedimentation tank and sediment of some industrial waste water are dregs. 2) according to different sources: The first sedimentation sludge comes from the initial sedimentation tank.
