Abstract Chronic heart failure is a medical condition that can have a significant impact on the quality of life for those affected by it. Managing chronic heart failure requires a combination of medication, lifestyle changes, and self-care behaviors. However, individual patients may have difficulty adhering to these behaviors, and research has shown that the involvement of social support, such as family and friends, can help to improve patient outcomes. In this paper, we will discuss the application of peer support in the self-care of chronic heart failure patients, its benefits and challenges, and strategies to enhance its effectiveness.
