Researchmethods:

Thestudywillmakeuseofvariousmethods,includinginterviews,surveys,andlinguisticanalysis.ThestudywillstartbyconductinginterviewswithWanzhoudialectspeakerstocollectdataontheiruseofinterrogativesentences.Asurveywillalsobeconductedtogatherinformationonthecommonpatternsandstructuresofinterrogativesentencesinthedialect.ThecollecteddatawillbeanalyzedusingquantitativeandqualitativemethodstoidentifythecommonpatternsandstructuresofinterrogativesentencesinWanzhoudialect.AlinguisticanalysiswillalsobeconductedtocompareinterrogativesentencesinWanzhoudialecttostandardMandarininterrogativesentences.
