Academic Advisor: an adviser to a professor or staff member of a school to help students with academic problems. Accreditation: qualification approval. When applying for a school, you should pay special attention to whether the application is approved by the authorities concerned. Admission: admission permit. Advanced placement: when applying for an American University, you may enter the freshman, sophomore, junior or senior directly through examination or transfer of credit (transfer credit). Advanced standing: same as Advanced placement. Associate degree: Associate degree. A degree given to a two-year community college (Community College) or a two-year College (Two-year) after graduating from high school. Audit: sit in. There are no credits and exams, but the fees are the same as for official students. B Bachelors degree: Baccalaureate。 A degree obtained from a four year university. Baccalaureate degree: Bachelors degree. A degree obtained from a four year university. Bursar: the finance and accounting department of the school. Bulletin: notices, announcements. Usually, the school curriculum directory is also called bulletin. C Campus: campus, campus Candidate notification date: the school announced its decision on the results of the student application. Candidate reply date: reply period. Most schools will specify a date, before this day, students must inform the school whether to enter school or not. College Catalog: School directory. Community College: a two-year community college. Competitiveness: the competitiveness of schools; the more competitive school representatives apply, the higher the difficulty.
