Chapter 7 Food 主题与中心思想 找出主题和中心思想是阅读理解中最重要的技能。主题和中心思想能帮助我们更容易地理解文中其它信息。文章理解的第一步是找到主题。主题也许是以单词形式表达，也许以词组形式表达。主题句概括全段的主要内容，是段落的核心，可以在段首，段中或段尾出现。主题句中往往有关键词，阅读时，找到了主题句和关键词就掌握了段落主要信息。主题找到后就要确定全文的中心思想。它是文章中最重要的成分，通常表明文章的目的或指示重点阅读的方向。中心思想还可帮助我们更容易地切入文章细节部分，了解生词含义和理解较难的句子结构。中心思想一般是在第一段或介绍段落中的尾部。阅读文章寻找中心思想时候，要强迫自己提高阅读的速度，使文章形成通畅的语义流。这样，我们才能把注意力放在文章思想及思想间的关系上。此外，不要把时间花在查生词上，要学会略过生词，不要因为弄明白个别词义而牺牲对整篇文章总体含义的理解。 　 Theme Introduction: People today seem more adventurous in their cooking, eating and drinking habits.
