Meanwhile, the prospect of this subject in the future were prospected. Keywords:materials science and engineering,development process,trend 1 引 言 上个世纪70年代以来，人们把信息、材料和能源作为社会文明的支柱。80 年代又把新材料、信息技术和生物技术并列为新技术革命的重要标志。随着科学 技术的高速发展，新技术、新产品及新工艺对新材料的要求越来越强烈，也促进 了当代材料科学技术的飞速发展。现在，材料学科及教育的重要性已被人们认识，国内外许多工科院校及综合性大学都相继成立了材料科学与工程学院（系）。 2 材料科学与工程学科发展历程
