The p eak - to - average power ratio ( PA PR ) of OFDM signal can be reduced by a rea sonab le arrangem en t of the two con stellation s among the subcarriers. The realization of the modu lation schem e requ ire s no struc tu ral change in cu rren t OFDM system s and ha s almo st no effect on the other p roce ssing p erform ance in OFDM system s. The comp u ter sim u lation demon strate s that the p ropo sed algorithm can obviou sly imp rove the PA PR p erform ance of OFDM sym bo ls.
