The Git Command Quick Reference
This appendix is a quick reference for Git common commands. Each section introduces one type of operation.
There are many commands listed here, and the corresponding explanations are not much. For readers who are not familiar with Git, go back to chapter 1, Gits version control channel (page 3).
A. 1 installation and initialization
The Setup and Initialization
Before you use Git, you need to configure it. Before you use a new version library, you need to initialize it. This section describes the commands related to Git setup and initialization.
Configure the global user name and E-mail address
Prompt git config - global user. Name Your name
Prompt git config - global user. Email wuhua0904@126.com
Configure the user name and E-mail address for a specific repository
Note: you can set the user name and email address for each version library separately. This allows users to use different user names and/or different E-mail addresses in different projects.
Prompt CD/path/to/repo
Prompt git config Your name

Use different colors to display different content on the command line
Prompt git config - global color. UI auto
Initialize the new version library
Prompt mkdir/path/to/repo:
