METHODS The analysis was carried on a col- umn of Inertsil C:一with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water-formic acid(24:76:0.4) at the lf ow rate of 1.0 mL ·min .‘The detec- tion wavelen thwas285run. RESULTS Thelinearitywasobtainedover theran eof8一400m ·L一(r‘二0.999 8) for danshensu, 4 一200 m ·L一’(r 二0.999 4) for protocatechuic aldehyde , 4 一200 m ·L一’(r = 1.000 0) for salvianolic acid A and 4 一200 m · L一’(r = 1. 000 0) for salvianolic acid B, respectively. The avera e recoveries of four phenolic acids in Salvia miltiorrhiza B e. And its preparations determined were all in 98. 5% 一101. 0%a ，and the RSDs were less than 2.0% . CONCLUSION The method is simple , accurate and rapid. It may be suitable for the usual quality control method of Salvia miltiorrhiza B e. and its preparations.
