Step2. 非限定性定语从句 定语从句分为限制性定语从句(restrictive)和非限制性定语从句（ non- restrictive ） The teacher told me that Tom was the only person that I could depend on.? 老师告诉我说汤姆是我唯一的可以依靠的人。 His mother, who loves him very much, is strict with him.?他妈妈十分地爱他，对他要求很严格。 一、限定性定语从句与非限定性定语从句的区别 限定性定语从句是句中不可缺少的组成部分，主句和从句之间不用逗号隔开 引导词：关系代词和关系副词，作宾语时一些关系代词可以省略 非限定性定语从句是对主句先行词的补充说明，没有这种从句不影响主句意思完整.一般用逗号把主句和从句分开 引导词：who,whom,whose,which,of which,when,where等，不用that,不能省略 试比较： 1. I was the only person in my office who was invited. 我是我们办公室唯一被邀请的人。(如果把从句部分去掉, 整个句子的含义就变了),限定性定语从 2.
