PAGE PAGE 1 國立中正大學政治學研究所教學大綱 九十八學年度第一學期 比較政治理論 Field Seminar on Comparative Politics 任課教師：廖坤榮 教授 Office hours: 週一 900-12:00 Office：社科院二館704研究室 週三 9:00-12:00 Tel : 05-2428238 E-Mail：polkjl@ ccu.edu.tw 一、課程目標與內容： 本課程為引導同學博覽多種比較政治理論及研究方法，作為區域研究及各國政治發展與民主化研究之基礎。課程從回顧比較政治研究的演進為始，到汲取先覺者(precursors)在比較政治研究的思維與方法，最後檢視與評估爭辯中的理論與學說。本課程設計從不同研究途徑（approaches），包括思想與哲學途徑、歷史宏觀途徑、制度與新制度論、行為學派、理性選擇、歷史結構研究途徑等，並結合區域研究（area studies），探討各國政治發展、政治行為、制度、政治經濟、發展與變遷等，研究議題包括、政治變遷與革命、政治參與、民主化、政治文化及其轉變、經濟發展、認同政治等。 二、課程要求與計分： 本課程著重師生及學生之間就指定文獻內容進行討論學習，同學於課前應至少研讀每週所指定之主要閱讀文獻。其次，教師將指定每位同學按其興趣之主題充分準備，於課堂提出讀書心得報告，並繳交五至十頁的書面報告，一份交給老師評閱，另外影印數份給其他同學分享參閱，此佔學期總成績50%。第三，每位同學應針對比較政治研究相關題目，於期末繳交一篇獨立研究報告，報告按課程進度分三階段完成， (due on Nov. 2 , Dec. 7, Jan. 12, ’10)佔30%，最後為課堂參與討論佔20%。 三、主要參考書： Mark Irving Lichbach and Alan S.
