Generational shifts, fast replacements speed, and big quantity of household appliances lead to consequent problems in environment area which become more and more serious. What’s more, the environmental problems are concerned with the economic sustainable developments in China. Since China is the great power in household appliances manufacture and consumption, how to take an action to recover and recycle waste household appliances effectively is a problem which needs badly to be solved. This essay will mainly focus on the analyses and researches in operation modals and recovery system of waste household appliances reverse logistics, according to the developing fact at this stage and the advanced foreign experiences. The data come from the combination of the domestic and overseas theories in waste household appliances reverse logistics and the exploration of Chinese enterprises. The purpose of this paper is to find and interpret the open questions in reverse logistics. The last of this paper will offer some personal suggestions in the development of waste household appliances reverse logistics in China.
