When the reference FBG is in series with a FBG strain sensor,the structure strain can be acquired by the relative wavelength shift of these two FBGs.The experiment results show that temperature sensitivity of relative wavelength shift is only 0.1 2 pm/℃,and tempera— ture disturbance is removed frOm FBG strain sensor.The principle of this temperature com— pensation method is simple,and the operation is convenient,which makes it possible to ap- ply the FBG strain sensors in engineering.
