CAUTION:

•CVTFlevelchangesalongwithCVTFtemperature.WheninspectingCVTFlevel,observethespec-

ifiedCVTFtemperature.

•AlwaysusespecifiedCVTForequivalent.Usingotherfluidthanspecifiedorequivalentwillcause

malfunction.

1)IdletheenginetoraiseCVTFtemperatureto35—45°C(95—113°F)onSubaruSelectMonitor.

2)OperatetheselectleverinP→R→N→DandD→N→R→PtocirculateCVTFwiththeengineidling.

3)Withtheenginerunning,liftupthevehicleandremovethefillerplug.

CAUTION:

Payspecialattentiontothefollowingoperationsastheengineisatidle.

NOTE:

CVTFisatthespecifiedlevelwhenitisuptothefillerplugholelowersection.
