RKIInstruments,Inc.warrantsgasalarmequipmentsoldbyustobefreefrom

defectsinmaterialsandworkmanship,andperformanceforaperiodofoneyearfrom

dateofshipmentfromRKIInstruments,Inc.Anypartsfounddefectivewithinthat

periodwillberepairedorreplaced,atouroption,freeofcharge.Thiswarrantydoes

notapplytothoseitemswhichbytheirnaturearesubjecttodeteriorationor

consumptioninnormalservice,andwhichmustbecleaned,repaired,orreplacedon

aroutinebasis.Examplesofsuchitemsare:

AbsorbentcartridgesBatteries

PumpdiaphragmsandvalvesFilterelements

Fuses

Warrantyisvoidedbyabuseincludingmechanicaldamage,alteration,rough

handling,orrepairsproceduresnotinaccordancewiththeinstructionmanual.This

warrantyindicatesthefullextentofourliability,andwearenotresponsiblefor

removalorreplacementcosts,localrepaircosts,transportationcosts,orcontingent

expensesincurredwithoutourpriorapproval.
