1.Samplepreparation

1.1Weighasampleof3-6mg.

1.2Usetweezerstoputthesampleintothepan.

1.3Coverthepanwithitscoverandputontotheblackholderofthepressinstrument.

1.4Rotatetheleverofthesamplepressinstrumenttopressyoursample.(seepicturebelow)

2.HardwareStart-up

2.1Turnonthecomputer.

2.2Openthemainnitrogengasvalve(blue)inananti-clockwisedirection.Adjusttheoutputvalve(red

circle)tokeepthepressurewithintherange0.15-0.25MPa.

2.3TurnontheDSCinstrumentbyswitchingonthebuttonbehindtheinstrument.Thepowerlight

shouldturnon.
