DTCseriesisanOPEN-TYPEdeviceandthereforeshouldbeinstalledinanenclosurefreeofairbornedust,humidity,electricshockand

vibration.Theenclosureshouldpreventnon-maintenancestafffromoperatingthedevice(e.g.keyorspecifictoolsarerequiredtoopenthe

enclosure)incasedangeranddamageonthedevicemayoccur.

WARNING!

1.Preventdustormetallicdebrisfromfallingintothecontrollerthatwillcausemalfunction.DONOTmodifyordisassemblethecontroller.

DONOuseextraterminals.

2.Donotinstalland/orusethecontrollerinplacessubjectto:

(a)dustorcorrosivegasesandliquid(b)highhumidityandhighradiation(c)vibrationandshock

3.Switchoffthepowerwhenwiringorchanginginputsensors.

4.Besuretousecompensatingwiresthatmatchthethermocoupletypeswhenextendingorconnectingthethermocouplewires.

5.Shortenthewirewhenwiringaplatinumresistancethermometer(RTD)tothecontroller,andseparatepowercablefromloadwiresto

preventinterferenceandconductiveinfluence.

6.MakesurethepowercableandsignalsdeviceareinstalledcorrectlybeforeswitchingonthepowerofDTC;otherwiseseriousdamage

mayoccur.

7.DONOTtouchtheterminalsorrepairthecontrollerwhenthepowerisontopreventelectricshock.

8.Waitatleastoneminuteafterthepowerisofftoallowthecap
