Thisspecificationestablishesstandardsfortin-zincelectrodepositedcoatingsforfastenersusedin
groundingapplications.Thiscoatingshouldbeusedingroundingapplicationswherethematinglugs
aretin-platedandthesubstrateissteel.Thiscoatingwillreducethegalvanicdifferencebetweenthe
platingofthelugsandthecoatingofthefasteners,whichshouldreducegalvaniccorrosionoverthe
lifecycleoftheproduct.
