ElectricalPowerACPowerSupplyTheconstantspeeddrive(CSD)islocatedontheleftsideoftheengine,onthefrontoftheaccessorygearbox.ThepurposeoftheCSDistoconvertthevariablespeedoftheenginetoaconstantspeedforthedrivengeneratortoproduceacpoweratconstantfrequency.

ElectricalPowerThegeneratorsdrivenbytheengineproducetheacpowerrequiredbytheairplanesystemsprimarilyforflightoperation.Theacgeneratorisratedat50kilovolt–amperes,120/208volts,400Hz.Theunitiswi
