It is very important and complicated. In this paper, the new NC Programming strategy is put forward in allusion to the features of High Speed Machining. It analyzes the limits that the traditional NC Programming data interface ISO 6983(G code, M code) is used as HSM Programming data interface. The new NC Programming data interface ISO 14649 is fully studied, and the benefits using it as HSM NC Programming data interface are discussed. The detailed implementary project of AP214 of STEP and AP238 of STEP-NC is brought forward. Then by way of these application protocols from CAD to CAM, the seamless integration is realized. This paper also discusses that the NC System should have some functions which are fit for the new NC Programming data interface STEP-NC, and presents the detailed software and hardware structure.
