A bstract: App y ing concentra ted cry sta ization process to rec a mi amm on ium su fate from the w astew a ter from the
production of g y co ic ac id, the paper stud ied the effects o f dehydra tion ratio to the recovery o f amm onium su fate and
abso rption oss o f g yco ic ac id in amm on ium su fa te crysta, and ascerta ined the f itting recover ing techn ica cond i
tions. By w ay o f comp ex ex traction w ith PCW 6 ex tractant to recover g yco ic ac id from the w astew ater, the paper
d iscu ssed d ifferent effects of each factor ( such as ac id ity, extractant concen tration, o iw a ter ra tio, tem pe rature, and
equi ibr ium tmi e) to the ex trac ting e ff ic iency. U sing N aOH so ution as str ipping agent, the paper stud ied the effec t o f
N aOH dosage to the stripping e ff iciency and so on, and ascerta ined and optmi ized the exper mi enta cond itions. T he
resu t show s that under the ascerta ined cond itions the recov ery o f ammon ium su fate approx mi ates to 100% , and the
percent recovery of g yco ic ac id com es to 92% .
