It has been my career dream to be a leading role in media industry for a long time. I have been intentionally engaging myself in a broad range of activities and internships of media during my university life, which improved my capabilities of critical analysis and research. From these experiences I know something about the new media. I think the Chinese media market will become more mature and stronger if we combine the traditional media and the new media well. For the unique characters of the new media such as no boundary, intercommunion and novelty decide the new media’s huge market. And I expect to get insightful knowledge, develop an international perspective, and get well prepared for a noble media career by taking your program. I think I have the academic potentials, necessary internship, and good personality to become a competent candidate in your university . Firstly, my academic performance is outstanding. I maintained a 3.7 GPA while handling a full complement of courses during my past three years. I eagerly completed more than 20 core courses while also having the unique advantage of being able to take optional courses. What’s more, I have made excellent performance in studies related to media. Due to my strong interest in media’s influence over children, I read many related literature and also conducted researches, especially on topics like “Advertising Directed at Children” and “Women in Media”. Since our university has rich resources and leading teachers on women studies, I have made rapid progress in my own research. My paper entitled “.....” has passed the examination of ...., a national core academic journal, and it will be published in February 2009. I also published a paper about education on a province-level core academic journal .... In addition, as the assistant in an research project “.....”, I independently recorded the children’s language behavior and collected the data. More importantly, I helped my teacher to tested the educational effect
