螺旋测微器又称外径千分尺、分厘卡,是一种精度较高的量具,精度可到0.01mm,主要是用来测量精度要求较高的工件。

将千分尺的测量面擦干净,校正落零;
将预测件表面清洗干净,一只手握住预测件,一只手转动活动套筒(粗调),将预测件置于两测杆之间;

转动棘轮(微调),当棘轮发出“咔咔”的响声时,读测量数据。

可动刻度有50个等分刻度,可动刻度旋转一周,测微螺杆轴向位移0.5mm(1个螺距),因此,旋转每个小分度,相当于测微螺杆轴向位移0.5/50=0.01mm

千分尺的规格及使用
1、先读固定刻度;
2、再读半刻度,若半刻度线已露出,记作 0.5mm;若半刻度线未露出,记作 0.0mm;
3、最后读可动刻度(估读—小数点后三位)。
格数×0.01mm
测量值=固定刻度+半刻度+可动刻度
