Conside ing the elative buckling of the local and ove all of the beam, the ultimate load- ca ying calculation exp ession is put fo wa d, which takes the width- thickness atio of flange and the section side atio as the pa amete s. The effectiveness of the exp ession is ve ified. T he esults can p ovide efe ence fo the design of the thin-walled box- section beam of high- st ength steel.
