Some key technologies of the system are discussed such as the framework and the information flow of the system, the XML-based process files representation, the operations on the XML-based process files by process rules and howto deal with XML files on the cli- ent. In the Web environment, exchanging data with XML between browser and server can meet enterprises’needs of process planning. It not only promotes the performance of the system but also solves some problems of developing application systems based on B/S model.
