Abstract Iron-carbon micro-electrol sis is applied in the treatment of the steel wastewater containing chromium.The ef-
fects of initial pH, stirring speed, Fe/C(qualit )and reaction time on the removal of Cr6+ are investigated b single factor
experiments.According to the results of the static experiments, the d namic test is carried out in a fixed bed reactor com-
posed of iron and carbon and the experimental results show that when the flow rate is less than 40 mL/min, the s stem can
continuousl operate for 6 h.
