According to these datas, the cavity wear of both arc-shaped and cone-shaped was calculated. The results show that extrusion diewear concentrates on entrance; thewear of arc-shaped die is larger than that of cone-shaped one, but arc- shaped diewear ismore uniform, so its life span is longer. All the results are in good agreementw ith actual conditions, therefore, it lays a foundation for forecasting die life and optmi izing die cavity profile.
