Methods The detailed nursing method including puncture preparation, environment preparation, preparation of articles, selection of blood vessels, puncture, fixed and other aspects on 300 cases of elderly patients with intravenous infusion to improve the success rate of infusion therapy. Results The patients satisfaction and nurse the one-time success rate of puncture in the observation group were higher than that of the control group(Plt;0.01). Conclusion Pay attention to detailed nursing method in elderly patients during intravenous infusion, can greatly improve the success rate of puncture and patient satisfaction. 【keyword】 detailed nursing method Elderly patients Intravenous infusion 在我们老年内科，患者年龄普遍比较大，在治疗和抢救老年患者的过程中，通过静脉输液补充液体及药物是临床重要的治疗方法之一，但因为老年人表浅静脉凹陷，血管弹性差，脆性高，静脉穿刺往往不能一次成功，这就对护士的静脉穿刺技术提出了更高的要求。2012年1月开始我科开展了通过细节护理来提高静脉穿刺的成功率。 1 资料与方法 1.1 一般资料 选择2012年1月-2012年12月我科诊治的老年患者300例，其中男133例，女167例，年龄60-101岁。 1.2 方法 所有病例随机分为观察组90例和对照组90例，对照组采取静脉输液常规护理措施，观察组在对照组护理的基础上加强细节护理服务，细节护理具体如下: 1.2.1 穿刺前的准备 首先做好患者及家属的解释工作，护士要有良好的心理素质和沟通能力，面对不配合的患者和家属，要保持冷静，积极沟通交流，减少患者的紧张情绪，尤其是初次接受输液的治疗者，向其说明药物的名称、作用和不良反应、以及全天输液总量，使患者在生理上和心理上都充分的准备，从而能积极配合。 1.2.2 环境准备 保持病房整洁，空气清新，温湿度适宜，让老年人感觉舒适和温暖。最重要的是光线，不能太暗，也不能太亮。太暗不易看清楚，太亮容易反光，选择明亮的自然光是最佳的。
