System summary 1.1 System network summary Communication between upper operating stations, engineer stations and PLC applies Siemens industrial Ethernet, and the process control stations apply Siemens S7-400 series PLC and adopts Profibus-DP to expand I/O, and all I/O module adopts S7-300 series. Batching scale switch cabinet and roller press switch cabinet is connected with process control station by Profibus-DP respectively. The communication between upper and lower stations in the system network and the communication among PLC main stations applies industrial Ethernet, which accords with IEEE802.3 and IEE802.3U international standard of TCP/IP protocol. The transmission medium is extra-five STP or coaxial cables, and the communication speed is self-adapting for 100M/10M. Lower Profibus bus accords with EN50170 and IEC61158-2 international standard of Profibus-DP protocol. The transmission medium is STP at communication speed of 9.6K/S- 12M/S according to software settings. 1.2 Description of cement grinding mill control system and configuration The control system applies Siemens SIMATIC S7-400 controller and S7-300 I/O to collect and process signals. The controller is S7 412-2DP, which can satisfy the application of medium-end requirement. SIMATIC S7-400 programmable controller, module structure design, allows each independent module to make various combinations for extension. One control station installed in each cement grinding mill line is equipped with one communication card to communicate with interface cards of control system and processors of operation station. Place cabinet in packaging place under cement tanks and cement conveying distant station.
