The difference between turn based game and real-time game
What is the most important dividing line in a strategy game, the way time passes - is it sustainable as in the real world, or is it divided into different stages in order to constrain the players activities? Many strategy players like to evolve one after another, but controversy between groups is always there.
Although there have been many conversations about this topic, few have been able to make a clear distinction between turn based games and real-time games. Good designers must master the strengths and weaknesses of these two types.
Ease of use
One of the basic differences between turn based games and real-time games is their intrinsic appeal and ease of use. But the problem is not as simple as one type is easy to approach, the other is hard to touch..
Real time games offer experiences that are closer to peoples daily lives. Of course, queuing in a grocery store is more like a turn round game, but what we do is only part of the chain of endless events. Just like Im leaving here and going there takes a minute or two minutes. In the real-time strategy game, the player will straighten the troops through the map and push them forward until they reach their destination and take one minute or two minutes. This familiarity can comfort many players, especially those who prefer leisure content.
Real time games are not for all players. Time compression will give players a sense of anxiety, and sometimes even beyond the limit. Some people like to accept the challenges of time, but some people do not.
Experienced players will always forget that mastering the complex game of scissors, stone cloth requires more effort. Some people like the initial stages of the game, such as where is the light switch? But most people are more than happy to skip these things to the point where they can master some of the game and no longer suffer loss easily. Holdi
