This work describes the life, work and marriages of some typical Bourgeois intellectuals during the Sino-Japanese War. With excellent language techniques, Mr. Qian displays a unique satire art world through special psychological portray and detail description. As a result, it leads to the effect of satirizing the bad aspects of social life. Even today, the satire art and spirit of this work still has its aesthetic value and practical significance. As for the exploration of the satire art in Fortress Besieged, this paper begins with the author’s special choice and description of the typical figures in the work. Through vivid description of the typical characters’ manners, knowledge and experience, the author satirizes them bitterly and mercilessly. At the same time, the work uncovers the dark side of every social community at that time, satirizes the blind
