While Productivity has improved significantly in the United States since this century, but most Americans did not benefit from it, people average income declined by more than 10%. According to a recent survey, in 25 cities across the US, New York has the largest gap between rich and poor. In 2007, 1% of the wealthy new yorkers are accounting for up to 44% of the citys total revenue[rɛvənu] of income. At the same time, in 2010, the number of homeless people climbed to 113000.in New York, many women and children live in a shelter for a long time .
For nearly 100 years, the gap between the rich and the poor has never been more serious: one side is 1% of the total population of happiness, the super rich, on the other side is 99% of the total population.
