Introduction
Tungsten is a rare and valuable metal widely used in industrial applications such as the production of steel, alloys, and electronic components. Jiangxi Province in China is one of the major tungsten producing regions in the world, with the largest tungsten deposit located in Full-Nan County, known as the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine. Therefore, the study of the geological and structural factors that control the formation and distribution of the tungsten deposits in Full-Nan County is crucial for the exploration and exploitation of this valuable resource. In this study, we aim to carry out a numerical simulation of the structural stress field in the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine and use the results to predict the potential areas for tungsten mineralization.
Objectives
The main objectives of this study are:
1. To develop a mathematical model to simulate the structural stress field in the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine.
2. To analyze the stress distribution in the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine and identify areas with high potential for tungsten mineralization.
3. To compare the models predictions with the actual mineralization in the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine to validate its accuracy.
Methodology
The research methodology will involve the following steps:
1. Collection and review of existing geological data and research on the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine.
2. Development of a conceptual model of the geological and structural features that control the formation and distribution of the tungsten deposits in Full-Nan County.
3. Construction of a three-dimensional (3D) numerical model using finite element analysis (FEA) to simulate the structural stress field in the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine.
4. Calibration of the numerical models parameters using geological and geophysical data from the Da Ji Shan tungsten mine.
