Things to say: Maintenance requirements come from manufacturers and authorities (local, national or international legal requirements). Allows controlling maintenance for several operators of the same material type, where the operators operate under different legal requirements. Example: an operator operates its own fleet of vehicles under local requirements. The operator also performs maintenance for a different operator on the same type of material, from a different country, operating under different legal requirements. Maintenance program can have assigned parts from a specific structure, components of a certain type, vehicles of a certain type, etc. For each assigned part there must be at least one maintenance plan. Several operational conditions (long distance, short distance) allows for multiple maintenance plans for each assigned part.
