Tools Needed 3/8 drive Ratchet 5 mm Hex Head Bit for 3/8 drive 4-6 3/8 drive extension T-30 Torx Head Bit for 3/8 drive 3/8 Drive Torque Wrench capable of delivering 8 Nm and 22 Nm. Measuring Dip Stick - P/N: W.140.589.15.21.00 (There is no dip stick in the fill tube.) Parts Needed 7 liters MB Branded Transmission Fluid P/N: A.001.989.21.03.10 (No substitute is permissible.) Transmission Filter P/N: A.140.277.00.95 Oil Pan Gasket P/N: A.140.271.00.80 Drain Plug Seal Ring P/N: A.140.271.00.60 Locking Clip for Fill Tube Cap P/N: A.140.991.00.55 Pan Magnet (Recommended only) P/N: A.220.271.00.98 (All of these parts should be available in the U.S., as they are common to the transmission used on passenger cars in the U.S.) Caveat!! Cleanliness is extremely important whe never opening an auto matic transmission. It is next to godliness with this transmission. If you need to use rags, be sure that they are lint fr ee.
