高考状语从句复习学案 一、概念:在复合句中作状语的从句叫状语从句,状语从句可修饰主句中的动词、形容词、 副词或是整个句子。 二、状语从句的基本特点: 1. 状语从句由从属连词引导,从属连词在从句中_______(充当/不充当)成分。 2. 状语从句放在主句_______(之前/之后) 时,常用逗号分开;放在主句_______(之前 /之后),一般不用逗号。 3. 状语从句按其意义和作用可分为时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、让步、 比较等______种。 判断下列状语从句的类型 1. She had just got the dinner ready when there was a knock at the door. ( ) 2. The doctor advised me to live where the air is fresher. ( ) 3. She was absent because she was ill. ( ) 4. ( ) 三、9类状语从句的分类介绍 一) 时间状语从句 1) when, while, as引导的时间状语从句(都可接持续性动词;when, as 还可接短暂性动词) 共同点:当主句谓语表示的是短暂动作,而从句谓语用延续性动词的进行时态表示在一段时间内正在进行的动作时, when, while与as可互换使用 When/ While / As I was walking down the street, I came across an old friend of mine. 不同点:when既可以引导一个持续动作,也可引导一个短暂动作,可用于主句和从句动作 同时发生或先后发生;while引导的动作必须是持续性的,侧重主句动作和从句动作相对比; as 引导从句时侧重主从句动作同时进行,从句的动作可以是持续性的,也可以是短暂的。 用when, while, as 填空: ①_______ he was a boy, he used to swim in the brook near his home. ② _______ we arrived there, the film had already begun. ③We always sing ________ we walk. ④ ________we were chatting she was looking at the time table on the wall. ⑤ ________ I got to the airport, the plane had already taken off. ⑥Sometimes I watch TV _______ I am having breakfast. when的用法小结 ①当…的时候 (at or during the time that ) 既可以引导一个持续动作,也可引导一个短暂动作, 可用于主句和从句动作同时发生或先后发生。 ②那时,这时 = at this / that time, 用于下列句型: Sb. was doing sth. when Sb. had just done sth. when Sb. was about to do/ going to do sth. / on the point of doing sth.when ③既然(这时when 引导的是原因状语从句) It was foolish of you to take a
