This paper takes the architectural and landscape design of the Yixing Teaship Club as an example to explore the creation methods and techniques of courtyard space in modern architecture, analyze the atmosphere and characteristics created by the courtyard space of the building, and propose some improvement suggestions. Firstly, this paper introduces the background and architectural design features of the Yixing Teaship Club, including architectural style, functional positioning, and building materials. Secondly, this paper analyzes the methods and techniques used in the creation of the courtyard space of the building, including landscape design, green plant landscaping, water feature design, and light and shadow creation. Finally, this paper summarizes the characteristics and atmosphere created by the courtyard space of the Yixing Teaship Club and puts forward some improvement suggestions, including strengthening the humanization and environmental protection in the design details, paying attention to the multifunctionality and flexibility of the space, and better integrating traditional cultural elements in the landscape design.
