加油站计量监督管理办法（Measures for supervision and administration of gas station metering） Measures for supervision and administration of gas station metering (promulgated by order No. thirty-fifth of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the December 31, 2002) Article 1 in order to strengthen the metrological supervision and management of gas station, gas station measurement standard behavior, safeguard national oil retail tax collection order, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, according to the Peoples Republic of China measurement Law and responsibilities of the State Council to the General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and quarantine, formulated. Article second these Measures shall apply to the supervision and administration of metering instruments, sales of oil products, measurement and related measurement activities in the operation of gas stations in Peoples Republic of China. The term gas station as mentioned in these Measures refers to the fixed place for the retail sale of refined oil using fuel metering machines and other measuring instruments. Third, the State Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the national gas station measurement work to implement a unified supervision and management. The local quality and technical supervision departments at or above the county level shall supervise and control the metrological work of gas stations within their respective administrative areas. Fourth gas stations in the retail operation of refined oil should ensure that the accuracy of measuring instruments and refined oil retail sales, law-abiding business, good faith service. The State encourages the refined oil operators to improve the measurement and inspection system and ensure the accurate measurement of refined oil sales.
